First Light Rucks are MWC's monthly invitation to the men of Central Florida: meet at the trailhead at sunrise, put weight on your back, and walk a few miles with men worth knowing.

What is rucking? Hiking with weight on your back. Military origin, but you don't need to be military, athletic, or in any particular shape. If you can walk, you can ruck.

First time? Perfect. Many guys at every ruck are first-timers or close to it. We'll show you how to load the pack, set the pace, and you'll be fine.

Don't have a pack? We've got loaners. Let us know when you RSVP and we'll have one ready for you at the trailhead.

Not feeling talkative? We get it. Encouraged, even. Rucks are for walking and whatever conversations show up, show up.

What to bring: – Comfortable shoes or boots you've already broken in. Water (more than you think.). Your pack, if you've got one. Yourself. That's it.
